About & Headcanons.
miku is an android.
programmed age is 16.
physical body is still in V3.
voice & other data updated to V4.
the reason why her body is still in V3 is that she is scared to upgrade it. she upgraded her model from V2 to V3 but after the update, her song & dance data got corrupted or the data went missing, including some memory data, making her forget about events that have happened in her life. forcing her to start from scratch, basically. the staff she works with tried their best to fix the data & reenter stuff they had in their backups but it already was too much on miku. causing her to be scared to ever update her physical model.
they got her a V4 model & keep to upgraded & patched up in case she ever wants to upgrade. but, it will probably not be any time soon. she is too scared to forget everything again.
miku speaks in the third person... a lot!
she thinks it makes her sound cuter.
